O R D E R

In W.P.No.6504 of 2011, the petitioner has sought for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the impugned order dated 17.02.2011 passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.35008/2010 X1 and quash the same and consequently direct Respondents to give appointment to the Petitioner for the post of Noon Meal Organiser on compassionate ground.

In W.P.No.6216 of 2011, the petitioner has sought for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of impugned order dated 17.02.2011 passed by the 1st Respondent in Na.Ka.No.38166/2010 XI and quash the same; consequently direct the Respondents to give appointment to the Petitioner for the post of Noon Meal Organiser on compassionate ground.

3. Since the issue raised in both the writ petitions are one and the same, these writ petitions are heard together and are disposed of with a common order.

4. In both the writ petitions, the plea raised by the petitioners is to give compassionate appointment to the petitioners. Since the said plea was not considered, the petitioners have approached this Court by way of the present writ petitions.

5. However, during the pendency of the writ petitions, there has been a positive development in favour of the petitioners, where, by an order dated 14.12.2017 and 15.03.2018, the candidature of the petitioners were considered for the purpose of compassionate appointment. Accordingly, they have been appointed so in the respondent Department and pursuant to the said orders, the petitioners have joined and are continuously working there.

6. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent has produced the said orders passed by the District Collector. Therefore, this Court feels that, since the plea raised by the petitioners in the above writ petitions have already been accomplished, nothing would survive for further orders from this Court. As the prayer sought for by the petitioners are met, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
