PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus Directing the 4th respondent to take action of the petitioners representation dated 20.11.2024 and 13.02.2025 submitted with regard to survey the petitioners land by metes and bounds, agriculture land properties comprised in Survey No. 129/1, of an extent of Punja Acre 3.16 1/2 cents in Patta No. 598 and Survey No. 129/2 of an extent of Punja Acre 0.17 cents in Patta No.264 and Survey No. 197/3E of an extent of Punja Acre 1.36 Cents in Patta No.264 situated at Pongalur Village, Avinasi Taluk, Tiruppur District through registered Settlement Deed dated 18.10.2021 in Document No.10573/2021 at SRO, Annur by metes and bounds land by metes and bounds, by making proper sub-division and pass.

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 4 and 5 to act upon the representation made by the petitioner wherein the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries and to sub-divide the same. 2.
Heard Mr.V.Logeswaren, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 5. 3.
The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property by virtue of a registered Settlement deed dated 18.10.2021. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the joint patta that has been issued in Patta Nos.264, 462, 598 and
625. The petitioner wanted to sub-divide the property and hence, made a representation seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same has not been acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner has to make an on-line application before the 4 th respondent by paying the necessary charges. On such on-line application being made, the 4 th respondent shall act upon the same and shall conduct the survey in the subject property. Thereafter, the request made by the petitioner seeking for the sub-division of the property shall be considered and appropriate orders shall be passed. This process shall be completed by the 4 th respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the on-line application from the petitioner. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
