O R D E R

Aggrieved by the placement of seniority in the cadre of Deputy Block Development Officer, the petitioner has filed an appeal on 16.04.2015 before the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department/ the second respondent herein. The said appeal has not been disposed of for about two long years. Therefore, the petitioner has come to this Court on the ground that she has been made to lose her seniority of further https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

promotion and it is also her case that her juniors were all promoted and in the result, she has been put to harassment.

2. Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents agreeing that the matter is pending for more than two years, sought six weeks time to dispose of the appeal, on merits and in accordance with law.

3. Considering the limit relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 16.04.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
