O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to allow the pay scale of Secondary Grade Teacher in place of the existing pay scale of pay Junior Secondary grade teacher to the petitioners from the date of their original appointment to the post of Nursery teacher in the fourth respondent school, in the light of the judgment of the High Court of Madras in W.P.No.221/91 etc. (S.Pappa and ors. Vs. Government of Tamil Nadu and ors) dated 30.07.1999.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition. She has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
