2. The petitioners claim that they are the owners of the land admeasuring to an extent of 600 sq.ft bearing Plot No.32, comprised in Survey No.221 part of Pother Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District by virtue of the registered sale deed dated 17.01.2014. The petitioners, after their purchase, submitted an application dated 09.07.2014 for transfer of patta in their names and since it has not been disposed of, they came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioners, without going into the merits of the application, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the application/representation dated 09.07.2014, after putting the petitioners and concerned persons on notice, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners as well as the persons concerned.
