..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the proceedings of the Letter No.1836/C1/122/2011, dated 03.02.2011 on the file of the second respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to provide the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner to enable the petitioner to switch on and maintain the cell phone tower at No.48, Londenpet, Gandhi Naga, Krishnagiri - 635 001.

2. The prayer made in this Writ petition is to issue a Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the proceedings of the second respondent dated 03.02.2011 and consequently direct the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner so as to enable them to switch on and maintain its cell phone tower.

3. This Court is of the opinion that such prayer does not survive at this length of time. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed,granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the police authorities, if necessity arises. No costs. Consequently, the connected M.P.Nos.1 and 2 of 2011 are closed.
