Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of declaration, declaring that Serial No.35 of G.O. (MS) No.72, Higher Education (K2) Department dated 30.04.2013 is arbitrary in so far as it states that M.Sc Applied Physics (Computer Electronics) is not equivalent to M.Sc Physics for the purpose of higher education and appointment and consequently hold that the Petitioner having M.Sc degree in Applied Physics is eligible to be appointed to the post of Assistant Professor in Physics in aided or Government Colleges or Universities.
