Prayer in W.P.No.26770 of 2015: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records pertaining to the order of the 3rd respondent in N.K.4333/2012/A, dated 10.05.2013, cancelling the survey number 208/4B covered under Patta No.4462 issued to the petitioner and quash the same as illegal and without jurisdiction, consequently, direct the fourth respondent to restore the Patta No.4462 for survey numbers 208/4B in Injambakkam Village, Sholinganallur Village, Kancheepuram District.

COMMON ORDER The grievance of the petitioners is that the Patta that originally stood in their name was cancelled by the Tahsildar, without notice to the petitioners. The petitioners, therefore preferred an appeal to the District Collector, who transferred the matter to the District Revenue Officer concerned. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the District Revenue Officer had held an enquiry, and the Patta was restored in the names of the petitioners as it was.
3.In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No Costs.
