O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the first respondent to dispose my appeal dated 26.12.2016, which is pending before the first respondent in respect of inclusion of the petitioner's name in the panel for promotion of the year 2016.

2.The grievances of the writ petitioner is that he is fully qualified for promotion to the post of Deputy Tahsildar as per Rules. His name was not considered by the authorities at the time of preparation of the panel for promotion for the year 2016. In this regard, the writ petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 26.12.2016 itself and the same is yet to be considered.

3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal submitted by the writ petitioner on 26.12.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The writ petitioner is directed to sent a copy of the appeal and all other relevant documents along with the orders passed by this court. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
