O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of the investigation in Crime No.229 of 2023 from the file of the third respondent to the file of the second respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the third respondent registered an FIR in Crime No.299 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 447 and 380 of IPC.

4. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the entire investigation has been completed and about to file a final report. At this stage, transferring the investigation to any other investigating agency would affect the investigation already done by the third respondent.

5. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to transfer the investigation in Crime No. 299 of 2023 from the file of the third

respondent to the file of the second respondent. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
