ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking permission to compound the offence. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Though this Court had earlier dismissed the Criminal Revision Petition by order dated 07.09.2016, subsequently, the petitioner has settled the entire cheque amount to the respondent. The respondent has also received the said amount in full and final settlement and has no objection to set aside the conviction and sentence imposed on the petitioner by the Trial Court. 4.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, this Court is inclined to permit the petitioner to compound the offence. Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
