This petition has been filed by the petitioner Corporation to condone the delay of 594 days in filing the above appeal against the award passed by the Tribunal in MCOP.No.95 of 2013, dated 26.03.2014, whereby the Tribunal has awarded a sum of Rs.1,74,532/- as compensation as against the claim of Rs.5,00,000/- made by the claimants.

2. From the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court does not find any sufficient reasons for the huge delay of 594 days in filing the above appeal. It is seen that the impugned award dated 26.03.2014 was made ready on 02.07.2014 and delivered on 25.07.2014. However, the lower Court counsel handed over the impugned judgment and decree to the petitioner's office on 05.08.2014 and again, the same was sent for legal opinion on 20.08.2014.

3. Though the petitioner's Corporation received the entire papers on 05.08.2014, they have filed the present appeal with a huge of delay of 594 days only on 28.07.2016. Therefore, this Court does not find any sufficient cause

for the delay. Hence, the present petition seeking to condone the delay of 594 days in filing the above appeal is dismissed. Consequently, CMA.No.SR34852 of 2016 is closed.
