The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to act on the representation dated 28.12.2016, conduct an enquiry and cancel the documents dated 17.03.2016 as per Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 issue by the 1st respondent. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2016, the 1st respondent has not considered the same and conducted the enquiry so far. 3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and conduct an enquiry and pass orders in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2016 under Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 and

conduct enquiry and pass orders, after giving opportunity of hearing to the counter claimant, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
