The petitioners have filed this writ petition to call for the records on the file of the first respondent relating to the impugned circular bearing Na.Ka.No.Ae5/62009/2009, circular V.No.46/2012 dated 08.06.2012 and quash the same in as much as it directs keeping the Assistant post equivalent to the number of Data Entry Operators vacant.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
