This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.3171 of 2023 in para 10 of the order as follows :- "10. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties (out of which, one should be the blood surety, who should produce document to show his/her means), each for a like sum to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge for Essential Commodities/NDPS Act, Chennai."

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the petitioner do not have any blood surety, he unable to execute the sureties before the court concerned and he is in judicial custody from 22.12.2022 1/3

even after the bail was granted. Therefore, he has filed this petition to modify the condition.

3. Considering the above submission, the condition to report before the respondent police is modified to that effect that the petitioner is ordered to be to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties (out of which, one should be close relative from Kerala, who should produce document to show his/her means), each for a like sum to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge for Essential Commodities/NDPS Act, Chennai.

4. Except the above modification, the other conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P. No. 3171 of 2023 vide order dated 14.02.2023 shall remain unalterted.

5. Time is extended for further period of two weeks for execution of sureties from the date of receipt of the copy of order. 17.03.2023 rpp 2/3
