O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed by S. Senthil, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, Coimbatore, the second respondent herein, to commence, conclude and pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him pending on the file of the second respondent in TDP case No.5 of 2014, within a reasonable time.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner is facing the disciplinary proceedings, he is liable to lose his promotional avenues, if the departmental proceedings are not completed at an early date. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Mr. K. Rajendra Prasad, learned Government Advocate, after taking notice for the respondents, admitting that the matter is pending on the file of the second respondent, sought for a year's time to commence and complete the pending disciplinary proceedings initiated against him. He also submitted that since the disciplinary proceedings has been initiated only in the year 2014, this much time is required.

4. Accepting the request made by learned Government Advocate, this Court keeping in mind that the disciplinary proceedings has been initiated only during the last year, is inclined to grant one year time to complete the pending departmental proceedings, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
