O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta for the petitioners property in Plot No.1 and 2 Kamatchi Amman Nagar Survey No. 41/1A Athivakkam Village Ponneri Taluk Tiruvallur District as acknowledged by the 2nd respondent in application dated 11.04.2022 and as claimed by the petitioner in his representation dated 19.12.2022 and in a time bound period.

2. In respect of the property situated at Survey No. 41/1A , Athivakkam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District, the petitioner, in order to get patta, had given a representation dated 19.12.2022 to the respondents. In order to consider the said representation and to pass orders thereon on merits seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent Tahsildar, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the said representation submitted by the petitioner would be considered and necessary orders would be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 19.12.2022 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
