This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the trial within stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court in C.C.No.87 of 2014 pending before the Judicial Magistrate-II, at Mettur, Salem District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is seen that this petitioner is facing prosecution in C.C.No.87 of 2014 before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Mettur, Salem District for various offences under the Indian Penal Code, in respect of alleged misappropriation of money of K.K.128, Mettur Factory Employees Co-operative Housing Society. The petitioner's quash application has been dismissed by this Court on 18.11.2015 in Crl.O.P.No.25816 of 2015.

4. It is seen that 83 persons have been cited as witnesses and large number of documents have been marked and hence, this Court cannot direct the trial Court to complete the trial in a time bound manner. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial expeditiously.
