Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records and to quash the third respondent order in Na.Ka.No.330/2020 dated 12.2.2021.

For Petitioner : No appearance For R1 to R3 : Mr.S.Arumugam Government Advocate

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the respondent dated 12.02.2021 on the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent, thereby directed the petitioner to send all the communications in Tamil to the fourth respondent.

2. Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this Court is inclined to pass orders on merits.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he, being a practicing advocate, appeared for M/s.Kovai Pazhamudir Nilayam. When the fourth respondent was purchasing some grocery from the petitioner's client, there was some dispute with regard to price of the product. Therefore, the fourth respondent had sent a notice to the petitioner's client in Tamil. On receipt of the same, the said M/s.Kovai Pazhamudir Nilayam engaged the petitioner as its counsel and issued notice in

English. However, the fourth respondent does not know the language English and as such, the fourth respondent submitted a representation to the third respondent on 06.11.2020. On receipt of the same, the third respondent directed the petitioner to send communication in Tamil to the fourth respondent.

4. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order passed by the third respondent. Thus, the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
