ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the case based on the complaint given on 02.05.2016, Umarabad Police Station, Ambur Taluk and investigate the matter immediately without any delay.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint dated 02.05.2016 given by the petitioner has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer, Vellore and that the Report of the Social Welfare Officer is awaited.

4. In the meantime, if there is any threat to the petitioner, it is open to him to approach the police for protection and the police shall enquire into the same and take action in accordance with law.
