Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India petitioner prayed that this Court to issue a writ of Certiorirafied Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the Director of Agriculture, Chennai 600 005 the first respondent herein made in GES2/83872/2013 dated 04.01.2016 quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and consequently direct the respondent herein to retain the petitioner herein in the Horticultural Department as Assistant Director of Horticulture, Ellapuram Block, Thiruvallur District with continuity of service protecting their original TNPSC seniority with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the case of the writ petitioner was considered by the respondents and the petitioner has been absorbed in the Department of Horticulture vide final proceedings dated 14.03.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
