This Civil Revision Petition is filed under Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, 1960 praying to set aside the fair and final order dated 16.04.2010 made in R.C.O.P.No.1521 of 2008, on the file of the Rent Controller, XIV Small Causes Court, Chennai, confirmed in fair and final order dated 06.06.2013 made in R.C.A.No.514 of 2010, on the file of the Rent Control Appellate Authority, VIII Small Causes Court, Chennai. 1/4

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the sole petitioner has died and so, he tried to contact the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner, however, he was unable to get instructions from them. Therefore, the learned counsel prayed that this Civil Revision Petition may be closed as abated with liberty to approach the Court by filing an appropriate petition to bring on record, the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner, as and when the situation arises and he has also filed a Memo dated 05.01.2022 before this Court, to that effect.

In view of the aforesaid Memo filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as abated with liberty to approach the Court by filing an appropriate petition to bring on record, the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner, as and when the situation arises. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
