ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan, J.) This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Registry to return the original sale deed dated 01.10.2010 registered as document No.2446 of 2010 and the original rectification deed dated 05.09.2011 registered as document No.2155 of 2011 which had been taken on record as Exs.A1 and A3.
2.It is contended by both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent that the petitioner and the respondent have now reached a settlement and in order to put that settlement into effect, the original documents are required to be presented before the jurisdictional Sub Registrar's office to register the further documents.
3.We would pass the following directions in this petition: The petition for return of documents may be presented before the Trial Court, namely, the XVII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, in O.S.No.2868 of 2019 with an undertaking to substitute the original documents with true attested copies.
4.This petition stands closed. The Registry to forward back the entire records to the Trial Court for the purpose of returning back Exs.A1 and A3 and to substitute the true attested copies of the same and to forward back the entire records to this Court.
