ORDER

The petitioner has approached the respondents 1 and 2 with his representation dated 20.01.2021, wherein a certain extent of land purchased by him from his vendor Vide sale deed No.4830/1989, dated 30.11.1989 to be regularised as a sale holding under the innocent purchaser scheme, and in terms of G.O.(Ms).No.565 dated 26.09.2008.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mrs.A.Reehana Begum learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents, and makes a statement on instruction that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 3.00 p.m, on 21.05.2021 in the office of the Assistant Commissioner, Urban Land Tax, Coimbatore / second respondent herein. The said statement is recorded. 2/4

In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the Assistant Commissioner, Urban Land Tax, Coimbatore, is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks ( after the conclusion of the General Election-2021 of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly ) from 21.05.2021.
