Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to regularise the purchase of the petitioner's land, part of a plot to an extent of 1,200 sq.ft., of land bearing Plot No.83, Sri Ashtalakshmi Nagar, Coimbatore, comprised in S.Nos.92 part, 93 part and 94 part of Kurichi Village, Madukarai Taluk, Coimbatore District, purchased by the petitioner from one Senthilnathan under the deed of sale dated 1/4
17.07.1986, duly registered as document No.3774/1986 on the file of the Joint Sub Registrar-I, as provided under G.O.Ms.No.565 (Revenue) dated 26.09.2008 and to regularize the sale holding of the petitioner under the innocent purchase scheme.

ORDER
The petitioner has approached the respondents 1 and 2 with his representation dated 19.01.2021, wherein a certain extent of land purchased by him from his vendor Vide sale deed No.3774/1986, dated 17.07.1986 to be regularised as a sale holding under the innocent purchaser scheme, and in terms of G.O.(Ms).No.565 dated 26.09.2008.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents, and makes a statement on instruction that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 3.00 p.m, on 21.05.2021 in the office of the Assistant Commissioner, Urban Land Tax, Coimbatore / second respondent herein. The said statement is recorded. 2/4

In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the Assistant Commissioner, Urban Land Tax, Coimbatore, is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks ( after the conclusion of the General Election-2021 of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly ) from 21.05.2021.
