Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.11.2019 in accordance with law and to issue Patta to the legal heirs of the deceased Pazhaniammal bearing Survey No.5/2, measuring about 0.35 cents and Survey No.5/3 measuring about 0.48 cents within the jurisdiction of Kallakurichi Registration District and Thittagudi Sub Registrar Office For Petitioner : Mr.M.Velmugrugan For Respondents: Mr.J.Purushothaman Additional Government Pleader

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamusdirecting the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner who is seeking for the issuance of patta. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the property belongs to his mother Late Pazhaniammal and the patta stood in her name while she was alive. She died on 11.03.2010 leaving behind the petitioner and two others as legal representatives. make the necessary changes in the revenue records and issue patta in favour of the petitioner and two others for the property. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. 3.Mr.J.Purushothaman, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that a date of enquiry has already been fixed by the respondents and after conducting the enquiry, proper decision will be taken in accordance with law.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner who is seeking for patta and conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 1st respondent along with a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
