By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents to grant parole to him pursuant to his representation dated 1.6.2016 for a period of 15 days for his Cardiac Surgery to be held at Royapettah Government Hospital, Chennai, on payment in the special ward, with the assistance of his wife A.Dhanalakshmi.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is a life convict and now he is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai. He is suffering from various ailments and apart from that, he is under the treatment for sever CARDIAC DEFECT / CAJD / REVMI & IVVMI - THROMBOLYSED and NEURO problem due to head injury. His health condition has become worse due to CARDIAC and NEURO problems and he was advised to undergo Cardiac Surgery at the earliest. In this regard, he sent numerous representations to the third respondent and finally, submitted a representation dated 1.6.2016 seeking parole for 15 days to undergo cardiac surgery at Royapettah Government Hospital, Chennai. Since the same was not considered so far, left with no other alternative, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for the relief set out earlier.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the petitioner seeks parole to undergo cardiac surgery in the Royapettah Government Hospital, Chennai, his request would be considered favourably and orders would be passed within a week by the third respondent.
5. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the present writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 1.6.2016 seeking parole and take necessary action by providing necessary escort to the petitioner so as to enable him to undergo cardiac surgery in the Royapettah Government Hospital, Chennai, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order and communicate the same to the petitioner forthwith. No costs.
