ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.506 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 241, 294(b), 324 and 506(2) of IPC.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions, submitted that the investigation in Crime No.506 of 2017 has already been completed and the final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Cuddalore.
4. Refuting the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that 2/4
the petitioner had filed a copy application seeking a certified copy of the final report, however, it was returned on the ground that no final report has been filed.

In response, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), submitted that though the final report had been filed by the first respondent, the same was returned by the Trial Court for certain corrections. The final report has been re-presented before the Trial Court, and is currently pending for taking cognizance.
6. In light of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), this Court is of the view that the prayer sought in this petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. The Trial Court is directed to take cognizance of the final report filed by the first respondent in Crime G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN.J, shk No.506 of 2017, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of 3/4
a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
