ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.09.2025 for the alleged offence under Section 397 of IPC in Crime No.145 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The petitioner was earlier arrested and released on bail. Subsequently, he jumped bail on 25.10.2023, and the Non Bailable Warrant was executed on 25.09.2025. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was arrested in connection with another case, hence he was not able to appear before the trial court in this case, and is ready to cooperate with the trial. Hence prayed for grant of bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner is having six previous cases, and there are six witnesses in this case, already two witnesses were examined, and the next hearing is posted for examination of other witnesses on 18.02.2026.Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that the trial is already progressing and the

petitioner is also having six previous cases, and it is alleged that the petitioner was absconding for a substantial period, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 13-02-2026 MPA To
