Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records of the 2nd respondent herein in D.O.No.01/2021-C2 dated 07.01.2021 and set aside the same and consequently direct the respondent herein to produce the petitioner's father/detenue viz., Ramachandiran, aged about 53 years, son of Elumalai, who is now confined in Central Prison, Vellore, Vellore District, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.01/2021-C2 dated 07.01.2021, detaining her father as "Goonda" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.953, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 25.02.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
