O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry on the petition dated 06.04.2016 submitted by the 4th respondent, by giving an opportunity to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not have instructions with regard to the current status of the matter. However, it is seen that the writ petition has been filed for a limited relief of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry on the representation submitted by the 4th respondent in the year 2016. The matter pertains to election to the post of Vice Chairman of the Municipality. According to the 2/4

petitioner, the complaint of the 4th respondent dated 06.04.2016 is not bona fide and it is one borne out of mala fides. The complaint itself was pertaining to an election that was proposed to be held in the year 2016.

3. Considering the above, nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
