Respondent(s) PRAYER; This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to disburse the medical Reimbursement incurred by the Petitioner's husband in the light of the Government order issued in G. 0. ( MS ) No- 160, Finance ( Salaries ) Department dated 29-06-2021 by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner on 11-12-2015 within a short date that may be fixed by this Honble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to disburse the medical Reimbursement incurred by the Petitioner's husband in the light of the Government order issued in G.O.Ms.No.160, Finance (Salaries)

Department dated 29-06-2021 by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner on 11-12-2015 within a short date that may be fixed by this Honble Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband is working as Superintendent in the District Library. While returning from work, the petitioner met with an accident on 31.08.2022 and has suffered with severe head injury. Immediately, the petitioner's husband was taken treatment and spent a sum of Rs.24,16,073/- The first respondent has recommended to the second respondent to sanction the entire amounts to the petitioner but the second respondent has sanctioned only Rs.3,41,960/- and not given remaining amount. The petitioner has made a representation on 11.12.2025 to disburse the remaining amount in the light of G.O.Ms.No.160, Finance (Salaries) Department dated 29-06-2021 and the same is not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 11.12.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
