O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 21/1/2020, 12/2/2020 and 14/2/2020 and thereby, restraining the fourth respondent from interfering with the third respondent temple administration and festivals.

2. The averments stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition are that Masi festival was scheduled to be commenced on 18/2/2020 with a ceremony of Poochattuthal and Kambam Naduthal. The fourth respondent Page No:2/4

on the strength of order dated 20/2/2019 passed by the second respondent is trying to interfere with the temple administration. Hence made representations dated 21/1/2020, 12/2/2020 and 14/2/2020. Since the same has not been disposed of, petitioner has come forward with the instant writ petition.

3. Though the present prayer has theoretically become infructuous, however, notwithstanding the said fact, it has to be noted that spiritual festival will fall every year and representations of similar nature may be given and therefore, the learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) submits that they will pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 21/1/2020, 12/2/2020 and 14/2/2020.

4. Acceding to the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE), this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 21/1/2020, 12/2/2020 and 14/2/2020, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
