Heard both sides.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the land acquisition proceedings were dropped. However, mutation have not been done in favour of the petitioner. Under those circumstances, he gave a representation to the respondents on 20.03.2014, requesting the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents to remove the entries made in the revenue records such as Patta, Chitta, Adangal and Village Revenue Register and other entries as the land of the Government. But, till date no orders have been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

3. Considering the pendency of the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.03.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation dated 20.03.2014 to the respondents along with a copy of this order. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
