PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to issue work order in favour of the petitioner the successful bidder in relation to the tender notice dated 10.01.2018 bearing Na.Ka.No.5083/2017/V, for the contract of providing safe drinking water facility in Athanavoor Village, Yelagiri Hills, Tirupaththur range of Tirupaththur Division and consequently grant 2 months further time for executing the contract work from the date of issuance of the work order.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today i.e., 06.01.2022, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that subsequently, further time was granted to the petitioner and the present work has also been completed. Therefore, the prayer sought in the present Writ petition has become infructuous. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication.

2. Probably, this may be the reason, why, the petitioner is not appearing today to prosecute the matter.

3. While recording the statement made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
