O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to issue computer patta in the name of the petitioner based on the final decree passed in favour of the petitioner by a competent civil Court.

2. Heard Mr.B.Sundarapandiyan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

On going through the records, it is seen that the application submitted by the petitioner is already under consideration and the authorities have taken note of the final decree passed by the competent civil Court. However, there was no progress and hence, the petitioner made representations on 29.12.2023 and 08.02.2024 and there was no response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 08.02.2024 and take an appropriate decision within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
