This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the 1st respondent to order enquiry into the affairs of the 3rd respondent Mills in exercise of power conferred under Section 182 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent Mills itself is now wound up. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
