This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents, particularly, the first respondent to deal with the representation dated 06.01.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta that stands in the name of respondents 3 and 4.

2. Heard Mr.G.Balamanikandan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. The specific case of the petitioner is that she is the absolute owner of the subject property and patta was also issued in her name in patta No.156. The grievance of the petitioner is that all of a sudden, the names of respondents 3 and 4 were added in the patta and it was transferred in their names. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner made a representation for cancellation of patta that stands in the name of 2/4

respondents 3 and 4. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation dated 06.01.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to the respondents 3 and 4 and pass orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
