Respondents PRAYER: This Writ Petition has been filed under section 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue an order of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders based on the petitioner's representation, dated 12.03.2015, relating to the disbursement of the salary as per the recommendations of III, IV and V Pay Commissions on par with co-employees, viz., Mr.Manoharan and Mr.Pachaiappan and to promote the petitioner on the file of the second respondent fishermen co-operative Society. O R D E R

Mr. A. Tamilvanan, learned Government Advocate (Puducherry) takes notice for the first respondent. At the request of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The limited request made by the petitioner in the writ petition, as pleaded by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is that he has been denied the benefit of salary as per the 3rd, 4th and 5th Pay Commission Recommendations, on par with his juniors Mr. Manoharan and Mr. Pachaiappan.

3. Therefore, this Court keeping in mind the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the pending representation dated 12.03.2015 made by the petitioner and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With this direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
