Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.12.2017 and take necessary steps to prevent and to remove the unauthorised constructions being put up by the 6th respondent in violations of coastal regulatory act and rules and restore the water tank which was in existence in the land in Survey No.156.

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is restricting the prayer in this petition only to direct respondent Nos.1 to 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.12.2017 in relation to the unauthorised construction put up by respondent No.6 in Survey No.156 situated at Thiruvanmiyur Village, Velachery Taluk.
2. The learned counsel for respondent No.4 i.e., Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority states that the representation of the petitioner dated 20.12.2017 will be considered and disposed of within a period of twelve weeks from today.
3. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for respondent No.4, no further directions are necessary in the writ
