O R D E R

The petitioner P.Subramanian, who initially served as Secondary Grade Qualified Teacher, subsequently promoted to various posts and retired from service on 30.09.2005 on reaching the age of superannuation, has come to this Court, seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 13.11.2014, given by him to count his higher grade place service as Secondary Grade Assistant Service from 19.09.1969 to 30.12.1970 for determination of his service benefits and pensionary benefits and to grant the consequential benefits arising thereof.

2.Since this Court in W.P. No.38450 of 2006 dated 05.01.2010, W.P. No.43235 of 2006 dated 03.04.2009 and W.P. No.30488 of 2006 dated 19.06.2008 has already issued direction to the respondents therein to count the service of the Secondary Grade Qualified Teachers worked in Higher Grade place as Secondary Grade Teacher with their remaining Secondary Grade Assistant service with all service benefits, the case of the petitioner deserves to be considered, as he is also entitled to get the similar benefits.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.In the light of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 13.11.2014 made by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
