ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by V.SIVAGNANAM.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's father detenu Thangamani, aged abut 68 years, bodily or in person before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that his father Thangamani, aged about 68 years, went missing from 07.02.2017 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure him. 3.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, a case in Korattur Police Station Crime No.360 of 2017 for 'man missing' was registered on 12.12.2017 and investigation is in progress.

Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ambattur to monitor the investigation in Korattur Police Station Crime No.360 of 2017 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenu Thangamani, aged about 68 years, is secured, he may be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambattur, under intimation to the petitioner.
