The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in Patta and Chitta and thus grant patta and chitta in respect of the properties comprised in Old R.S.No.788 extent 3 1⁄2 cents, Old R.S.No.806 - 20 cents, Old R.S.No.859 - 16 cents, Old R.S.No.668 - 1.00 acre, Old R.S.No.788 - 23 1⁄2 cents, Old R.S.No.822 - 10 cents, Old R.S.No.782/1 - 15 cents, Old R.S.No.782/5B - 25 1⁄2 cents, Old R.S.No.811 - 20 cents, Old R.S.No.788 - 2 cents situated at Ketti Village, Coonoor Taluk, The Nilgiris based on the applications dated 13.06.2016, 14.07.2016, 20.07.2016, 27.06.2016, 01.08.2016, 22.08.2016 and 29.08.2016 and on the representation dated 14.10.2016.

2.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass orders in accordance with law.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 13.06.2016, 14.07.2016, 20.07.2016, 27.06.2016, 01.08.2016, 22.08.2016, 29.08.2016 and 14.10.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
