ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 09.01.2017 and issue birth certificate by including his son's name.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2017, the respondents have not considered the same yet.

3. Ms.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, taking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
