ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.142 of 2021 from the fourth respondent herein to CB-CID, Chennai or any other agency for fair investigation.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the entire investigation in Crime No.142 of 2021 has been completed and the final report has been filed in C.C.No.1 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Arcot.

4. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was not served with referred charge sheet notice so far.

5. In view of the above, the fourth respondent is directed to serve the

referred charge sheet notice to the petitioner in Crime No.142 of 2021, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition in the manner known to law, if so advised.
