This contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.5738 of 2016 dated 17.02.2016, in and by which, this Court directed the respondent herein to 1 / 3

consider the representations of the petitioner dated 19.05.2015 and 25.05.2015, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties and dispose of the same.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned Additional Government Pleader that as per the order of this Court, dated 17.02.2016 in W.P.No.5738 of 2016, the representations of the petitioner were considered and the same were rejected. He has also filed a counter to that effect.

3. In view of the above submissions, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for adjudication in this Contempt Petition. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
