This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant a general direction directing the second respondent to file a report pertaining to the detention of the detenue by name

Theneti Mahalakshmi and in pursuance direct the IVth Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.Not Known of 2019 in Crime No.3 of 2019 as expeditiously. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Crl.M.P.No.26 of 2019 was dismissed on 07.02.2019 by the learned IVth Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3.Hence, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a petition as against the said order passed in Crl.M.P.No.26 of 2019 dated 07.02.2019 before the appropriate Court.
