O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Inspector of Police, Kelambakkam Police Station, Kelambakkam, the second respondent herein to grant permission to conduct the Annual Chitra Pournami festival and Cultural and Entertainment Programme at Sri Kannika Parameswari Amman Temple such as Adal, Padal, Karakattam, Light Music and dance programme etc. scheduled to he held during the period from 10.05.2017 to 15.05.2017 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the second respondent on 04.04.2017 for conducting cultural programme, the respondents has not passed orders till today.

4. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

5. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 09.05.2017.

6. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected WMP is Closed.
