The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2016 in accordance with law, and transfer the investigation in Crime No.1305 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent to some other agency.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the second respondent is the appropriate authority to investigate the case pending in Crime No.1305 of 2016.

The above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded and the second respondent is directed to call for the parties and investigate the case in Crime No.1305 of 2016 pending on his file and file a report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
