Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay compensation of Rs.25 lakhs (rupees twenty five lakhs only) expressing displeasure over the violations of Fundamental Rights and loss of petitioner's service career, reputation and for causing mental and financial agony to himself and to his family throughout his life still extending unabated beyond the age of 83.

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondent to pay compensation of Rs.25 lakhs (rupees twenty five lakhs only) expressing displeasure over the violations of Fundamental Rights and loss of petitioner's service career, reputation and for causing mental and financial agony to him and to his family throughout his life still extending unabated beyond the age of 83.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.
